Mount Vorras (or Kaimaktsalan) is the third largest mountain in Greece and rises along the Greek-Yugoslavian border, while most of its Greek part belongs to the prefecture of Pella.

Mount Vorras is not only an attraction for nature lovers and mountaineers.

Every year thousands of skiers visit the state-of-the-art facilities of the Borra Ski Centre, while the National Team and most ski schools start their preparation there.

The Vorra – Kaimaktsalan Ski Centre is 45 km from the beautiful city of Edessa and is located on the south-eastern side of the mountain at an altitude of 2,050 to 2,480 metres.
Guests of the Ski Centre can stay in traditional guesthouses or even in the Chalet of the Ski Centre which is located at 2.050 m. altitude with panoramic, impressive views of Lake Vegoritida.
